Shades of grey

Sis strikes again! Isn't she gorgeous? I love her sooo much.

Grey blouse: heels, pink blouse: h&m, belt: vintage, pants: sarah lawrence, flats: zara, bag: kem, earrings: hliaxtida in Milos
She is off to university in that look. She loves grey and pink and i think this outfit totally matches with Spring season. This bag is very comfortable and has enough space for all the appropriate things you need in your everyday life.

And the strawberry earrings! She bought them last summer during our stay in the beautiful island of Milos.

I baked a cake again. This time i used the recipe i found on the back of the flour package. The recipe was so simple that i decided to make the process more interesting by decorating it. What do you think? Would you like to have a taste?

In the garden

Goodmorning everyone! These photos were taken last Sunday, as i was preparing to go to a party later that afternoon.
T-shirt:levis thrifted, belt vintage, highwaisted pants shark, shoes Stuart Weitzman.
Red and black seemed appropriate for the occasion. So, after playing a little dress up in front of my mirror this is the outfit i came up with.

Those shoes are super feminine and fit well with every outfit. Not to mention how comfortable they are...

I also spent some time in the kitchen bakin' peanutbutter cookies. They are delish! Recipe found here

Purple happiness

My absolutely favorite color is PURPLE!!! I love to add purple details in my outfits.

Cardigan sarah lawrence, tank top zara, boots off road, cutoffs swapped, floral tights old, necklace gifted.

This necklace is so fun. It makes my day. It's a cat chasing after a mouse. The poor mouse is doomed to be trapped in an eternal chase.

A couple of days ago I baked this delicious cake. It is butter and egg free. It is soooo yummy that my sister ate half of it in one day. I found the recipe here.

Oh, happy day!

Last Sunday was amazing. The weather, the sun, everything! Sis and i decided to go for a walk in the park, enjoy the sun and have fun.

This bag is so lovely. It's actually from lollipops. I totally love this shop. Whenever i get in, i never come out empty handed :P
Dress bershka, bag lollipops, cardigan ysatis, leather jacket zara
This dress is the epitome of a girly girl's style; heart dots and just the right length. Makes you smile doesn't it?

The third wedding - The outfit

Hello, there again! Another outfit post. This time inspired by my new diy book clutch.

Top Zara, pants Bershka, belt vintage, diy clutch, bracelet Dimoulitsa.

This bracelet is hand made and it belongs to my mom. We bought it as a gift for her in a small jewelry shop in Parga, a very beatiful city of Northern Greece. Miss Dimoulitsa runs the shop herself. She is a very creative person and really friendly and polite. You should definitely visit it whenever you go there!

As already mentioned the idea to make a book clutch came when i read the post of 'The cherry blossom girl'. So after a small research on the web i gathered a few ideas from a plethora of tutorials on how to make my book clutch. You can find a few examples here, here and here.

I added a more luxurius touch by painting the exterior of the pages with a gold permanent marker.

Unfortunately, i didn't keep any photos during the procedure. The outcome is surprisingly pleasing, don't you think?

Last but not least i was a little bit curious on clutch bags, so i gathered a few info on their history in women's fashion. One thing is for sure, clutches are not a modern invention. They first came out during the early 1800's and they were first named reticules. A lady of quality carried her handkerchief and smelling salts in her reticule, along with, perhaps, a packet of rice papers to dull a shiny spot on the face. They gradually came out of fashion in early 1900's, but experienced a resurgence in popularity during World War II. With rationing, the smaller clutch required less material for manufacture and fit in well with a wartime mindset (source 1,2)

The third wedding

I must admit that when i saw alix of the 'The cherry blossom girl' holding this book clutch i got a little bit jealous!

After a small research on the nets, i found some diy projects giving simple instructions on how to make your own book clutch (the original is quite pricey). I found a hardcovered book and i started cutting and glueing its pages.  Although, it's still a work in progress, i thought it's worth sharing with you some pics. What do you think?

The book's title is 'The third wedding', thus the title of this post. Actually it's author is really famous in Greece. I saw the theatre play last year, it was a great hit.

An outfit post is coming out soon, i hope ;)

English Breakfast

Hello everyone! As usual, this Saturday morning was fun and relaxed. We had our breakfast, english tea and sweet cookies, and decided to setup a mini photoshoot along the way. My dear sis posed for me and I just snapped!

My little sis loves bows and hearts and everything that's meant to make an outfit girly and mellow.

Her wrist watch, as well as the purple bracelet, are dear gifts and she wears  them all the time.

Actually, the shoes are mine. She gave them to me as a bday gift last year.

Shoes lollipops, tights calzedonia, skirt stradivarius, blouse zara, wrist watch casio.

A couple of days ago I baked cookies based on lovely Ermioni's recipe. You can find it here.

The classic taste of Earl grey is our fav!
